Recipe for French toast with black tapenade and brandade

Ingredients

  • 1 jar of black tapenade 110g
  • 4 slices of crustless sandwich bread
  • 100g brandade
  • 2 eggs
  • 20cl of milk
  • salt pepper

Recipe

Generously spread 2 slices of white bread with the Black Tapenade.

Then the other 2 with the brandade, put the two slices together like a sandwich.

Beat 2 eggs with 20cl of milk, salt and pepper with a fork in a deep plate.

Heat 50 cl of olive oil and 50 g of butter in a pan.

Dip the sandwiches for 5 seconds on each side in the milk-egg mixture.

Then brown them for 4 to 5 minutes on each side in the pan.
